(C) TCF reporter activity of the cells was measured upon transient transfection of mutant β-cateninS37A. Values were normalized to vector-transfected cells. (D) β-catenin expression was stably knocked down in MDA-MB-231 and HCC38 cells by lentiviral transduction of CTNNB1-specific or scrambled control shRNAs, and Western blotting was performed as in A.
