Amino acid alignment of Nano-25 and Nano-85. The nanobody amino acid sequences were aligned using Clustal X. The CDRs (blue bars) were highly variable between Nano-25 and Nano-85. An insertion was found in the Nano-85 CDR-3. The nanobody amino acids involved in P domain binding were colored accordingly: GII.10 Nano-25, green; GII.10 Nano-85, orange. The asterisks represent conserved amino acids.
