Induced C-6-H resistance of SH1000 by pre-incubation with a sub-MIC of C-6-H. SH1000 was grown in TSB^−Fe with or without 10 µg/ml C-6-H until OD₆₀₀ 0.5–0.6. Cells were harvested, washed with dH₂O and challenged with 0 (filled circle), 10 (filled square) or 10 with preincubation (filled diamond) µg/ml C-6-H over 2 h. Samples were taken, and cfu was determined over time. Samples were plated in triplicate, and each experiment was repeated twice. Error bars indicate the standard error of the mean
