Relative gene expression of PME48 in pme48−/− dry pollen grains (A), 1-h imbibed pollen grains (B), and 6-h-old pollen tubes (C) was measured using stably expressed reference genes (At3g28750, At3g57690, and At5g59370) in three biological samples with similar results. Only the results obtained with At3g28750 are shown. The data correspond to the ratio of expression in the wild type (wt) or pme48−/− compared with the wild type and are means ± sd of three technical replicates of a biological sample.
