Effects of apigenin on osteoblastic cell viability. MC3T3-E1 cells (1 × 10³ cells/well; 96-well plates) were exposed to the olive polyphenol apigenin at various concentrations (1–10 μM) and were subcultured for 53 or 74 h. After treatment with apigenin, the cells were treated with MTT (50 μg/well) for 4 h, and the absorbance at 570 nm was measured. The values represent the mean ± SD of results from three wells.
