Repair of cisplatin intrastrand adducts in H1299 (A) and H1355 (B) NSCLC cell lines. Untransfected (UT), siXPF, siERCC1 and both siXPF–siERCC1 (denoted as siX + siE) transfected cells were treated with cisplatin for 2 h and genomic DNA was isolated at different time intervals (0, 24, and 48 h). ELISAs were performed as described using cisplatin intrastrand adduct antibody and the percentage of intrastrand adducts remaining was calculated for H1299 (A) and H1355 (B) at the denoted times. The results are represented as mean±SEM of three independent experiments.
