Serum samples were drawn before treatment/training were started (t = 0), after the boosting period (t = 3 weeks), after the treatment period (t = 10 weeks), and after a 3-week washout period (t = 13 weeks). Serum samples were centrifuged after collection (10 min, 4°C, 3,800 rpm) and stored at -20°C.
