Effects of lesatropane on glutamate injury in PC12 cells or cortical slices. (A) PC12 cells were pre-treated for 24 h with lesatropane (1 nM -0.1 μM) followed by treatment with 1 mM glutamate for 48 h. Cell survival rates were evaluated by MTT. (B) Cortical slices were incubated with 0.1 μM lesatropane 30 min prior to and during the treatment of 1 mM glutamate. The viability of cortical slices was evaluated by using TTC method.
