Factor analysis of IC ₅₀ values. Kaiser-Maier-Olkin (KMO) statistics and Bartlett’s Test for sphericity indicated the appropriateness of the data for factor analysis (KMO statistic: 0.62, Bartlett’s test p-value: <0.0001). The distribution of the Eigenvalues indicated that a separation into two components was most appropriate. Within the two-component space, three distinct clusters of drugs were observed (1: lumefantrine (LM) 2: chloroquine (CQ), piperaquine (PQ), naphthoquine (NQ); 3: pyronaridine (PY), artesunate (AS), dihydroartemisinin (DHA), artemether (AM)).
