Data are summarized using the mean ± standard deviation. Chemotherapy was the principal treatment modality for ovarian cancer, radiation therapy was primarily used to treat endometrial cancer, and oophorectomy was performed in early stage ovarian and endometrial cancer patients who did not require subsequent radiation or chemotherapy.
