In animals in which anti-DBH-SAP had been injected bilaterally into the NTS lability (SD of MAP) began to rise 4 days after injection and reached significantly (**p < 0.01) increased levels on Day 5 when compared with those of control rats. Comparison of the SD at individual days revealed significant differences between treated and control animals also on Day 7 (*p < 0.05) and Day 8 (*p < 0.05). The SD of MAP for Day 1 is shown but was not included in analysis because it was artificially elevated as a result of data collection as animals were recovering from anesthesia.
