Colocalization of transiently expressed pUL31 mutant constructs with wild-type pUL34. To investigate the interaction of pUL31 constructs with pUL34, RK13 cells were cotransfected with the corresponding expression plasmids and colocalization was analyzed by confocal laser scanning microscopy of indirect immunofluorescence reactions with DAPI for labeling of chromatin and monospecific rabbit anti-pUL31 (red) and murine anti-pUL34 (green) sera.
