Unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO) increases soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) expression and activity. A: expression of kidney sEH in vehicle- or trans-4-{4-[3-(4-trifluoromethoxyphenyl)ureido]cyclohexyloxy}benzoic acid (t-TUCB)-treated mice at 3 or 10 days after sham operation or UUO using Western blot analysis. Bands were quantified using Lab Works analysis software. B: sEH activity presented as the ratio of Epoxyeicosatrienoic acids (EETs) to dihydroxyeicosatrienoic acids (DHETs) in the kidneys using an EET/DHET ELISA kit.
