Bootstrap values (1,000 replicates) >50 are shown at nodes. Haplotypes derived from Alaska and California duck samples for this study (DUCK01–DUCK08) are shown in bold. Two-letter codes following the lineage names of MalAvi acquired sequences refer to the avian order/s reported as the host origin: Anseriformes (An), Bucerotiformes (Bu), Charadriiformes (Ch), Columbiformes (Co), Coraciiformes (Cr), Galliformes (Ga), Passeriformes (Pa), and Strigiformes (St). Numbers following the order code refer to the reported continent of origin: Europe (1), Asia (2), Africa (3) Oceania (4), North America (5), South America (6) and unknown (9).
