Time-resolved UV-visible absorption difference spectroscopy on the D393C mutant of CPH1-PHR in the absence of ATP. B, the integral difference absorbance in the spectral range of 350–490 nm was plotted against time on a logarithmic scale. A biexponential fit of the decay yields two time constants of 9 and 400 μs.
