Pearson product moment correlation coefficient (Pearson R) was used to measure the strength of association between gene expression and eGFR. Two-tailed test was used to determine the statistical significance. With Benjamini–Hochberg multiple testing correction, seven transcripts showed significant correlation with eGFR (P corrected<0.05). Gene symbols are official symbols approved by the Human Genome Organization Gene Nomenclature Committee (HGNC).
