Ergosterol or cholesterol reduced the fluconazole susceptibility of CgTn201S. Plates were incubated aerobically or under conditions of low oxygen tension at 30°C for 2 days. The fluconazole susceptibilities of Cg1660 and CgTn201S were analyzed by Etest. The intercept of the zone of growth inhibition with the paper strip indicates the MIC.
