B Damage distributions of disulfide sulfurs stratified by disulfide bond group. Of the three disulfide bond groups (hook, n = 1070; spiral, n = 1424; and staple, n = 470) the B Damage distribution of staple disulfide bonds deviates from the other two. The three B Damage distributions have different variances (p < Inline graphic), indicating there is an underlying difference between them. The variances of the atomic B-factor distributions are similar (p > 0.05; not shown). All of the distributions are smoothed using a kernel density estimator (R Development Core Team, 2011).
