Integrated transcriptomic and proteomic analysis for miR-145 effect in pancreatic cancer cells. Quantitation results from mRNA gene expression microarrays and SILAC were intersected to show that “8mer” type of miR-145 binding predominantly caused downregulation of transcript and protein levels. All other types did not show any obvious pattern.
