(B) Df1/+ mice show a reduction in muscle size. (C) Measurements of the mLVP (yellow) volume from histological frontal sections show that muscles in adult Df1/+ animals (n = 8) are significantly smaller compared with those of control littermates (n = 2; P < 0.0444).
