(A) HT1080 cells were treated with Huaier at concentrations of 0, 4 or 8 mg/ml for 48 h. The expression of B-cell lymphoma 2 (Bcl-2), Bcl-2 associated X protein (Bax), cytochrome-c (cyt-c), caspase-3 and caspase-9 was detected by western blotting. β-actin served as the internal control. (B) The relative expression of the target proteins in the HT1080 cells was analyzed. (C) HT1080 cells were treated with 4 mg/ml Huaier for 24 h. The green fluorescence was increased and the red fluorescence was decreased in the 4 mg/ml Huaier group compared with the control group.
