The band number was assigned as shown in the SDS-polyacrylamide gel in Fig. 6A. Bands 1 to 9 represented proteins with different staining intensities in the 176 wt and 176ΔenvC OMVs. Band 10 corresponded to proteins with similar staining intensities.
The proteins that are less abundant in the 176ΔenvC strain compared to the 176 wt strain are indicated by an asterisk.
