In females (A) AGD_AC (shown as AGD) is measured from the center of the anus to the anterior tip of the clitoral hood and AGD_AF (shown as AFD) is measured from the center of the anus to the base of the posterior fourchette where skin folds fuse. In males (B) AGD_AP (shown as AGD) is measured from the center of the anus to the cephalad insertion of the penis and AGD_AS (shown as ASD) is measured from the center of the anus to the posterior base (first fold) of the scrotum.
