Effects of PACAP on the expression of inflammatory cytokines and TLR-related genes in podocytes. Podocytes were pretreated with 10 nM PACAP for 1 h and then stimulated with 0.1 μg/mL LPS for 3 h. The expressions of MCP-1, IL-6, TLR4, TLR2, MyD88, and IRAK1 mRNA were analyzed by real-time PCR. GAPDH was used as an internal standard. ^* P < 0.001 compared with the control group. ^** P < 0.05 compared with the LPS group. Experiments were repeated at least three times and bars represented mean ± SD.
