The chromatography was developed at 0.5 ml/min with a linear gradient of NaCl from 0–400 mM in 500 ml of 25 mM phosphate buffer (pH 7.0). After the gradient elution, the column was eluted with 1500 mM NaCl in 25 mM phosphate buffer at 0.5 ml/min.
