Results of ALFF differences between groups (p < 0.05, FWE corrected) (A) and correlation maps between ALFF and unpleasantness ratings for the acupuncturist group (B,C). (B) Significant correlation between ALFF and unpleasantness ratings was found in the left VMPFC. The statistical threshold was set at |Z| > 3.29 (p < 0.001 at the individual voxel level) and cluster size >45 voxels, which corresponds to a corrected p < 0.05.
