Evaluation of the effect of adenovirus-mediated IGF-1 therapy on placental inflammation. Anti-CD45 immunohistochemistry was performed on placentas that were injected with 1×109 PFU of Ad-IGF-1. There was no significant difference between adenovirus-treated (A and B) and PBS-treated (C) placentas, in terms of the number of CD45-positive cells in the labyrinth zone.
