In vitro glucuronidation of epicatechin by recombinant human UGT isoforms expressed in insect microsomes. Microsomes corresponding to 0.5 mg/ml protein were incubated with 50 μm epicatechin for 60 min at 37 °C in the presence of 0.025 mg/ml alamethicin, 100 μm ascorbic acid, and 1 mm UDPGA in phosphate buffer.
