Fig 6 — The results showed the effect of zerumbone on gastric tissue homogenate contents of (A) prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), (B) non-protein sulfhydryl compound (NP-SH), (C) glutathione (GSH) and (D) malondialdehyde (MDA) levels. Compared to the ulcer control group, zerumbone pre-treatment significantly (p <0.05) increased the level of PGE2, NP-SH, and GSH. Meanwhile the level of MDA was decreased. (*) Indicate the significant differences between treatment groups at (p <0.05) compared to the ulcer control group. The results are expressed as mean ± SEM, (n = 6) by ordinary one-way ANOVA with Dunnett’s multiple comparison tests using Graph Pad Prism version 5.
