Analysis is based on 446 bp of mtDNA (16S gene) sequence, showing the position of Microhyla nilphamariensis sp. nov. Chaperina fusca was used as an outgroup. The Microyla ornata sequence is from Karnataka (Western Ghats, India). Numbers on branches represent bootstrap support values for Maximum-likelihood, and Bayesian posterior probabilities, respectively.
