RAW 264.7 cells were either activated or not with LPS (1 μg/ml) and further incubated with anthranilates (1, 10 or 30 μM). After 24 h of incubation the concentration of NO₂ ^- accumulated in the supernatant was measured by the Griess method. Results are presented as mean ± S.D. (n = 4). Statistical significance was calculated by ANOVA followed by Bonferroni's test. ^#p<0.05 when comparing the LPS-activated with non-activated cells *p<0.05 comparing LPS-activated cells pre-incubated with anthranilates with the LPS-activated cells.
