Example of a tonic vibration reflex response (TVR) elicited in the GS muscle by homonymous tendon vibration. In this example, the EMG activity increases in the vibrated muscle and the power spectrum indicates the appearance of muscle activity synchronized with the vibration frequency, which ascertains that the increase in EMG magnitude is not related to a voluntary command.
