Effect of Rosu+Bex on endothelial cell adhesion molecule expression. Cells were treated with Rosu (10 nM), Bex (0.3 μM), or a combination of Rosu (10 nM) plus Bex (0.3 μM) for 20 h and then stimulated with Ang-II (1 μM, 4 h). ICAM-1 (A) and VCAM-1 (B) protein expression was determined by flow cytometry and immunofluorescence. Right panels show representative images of endothelial cells. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue), and green fluorescence shows ICAM-1 (top) or VCAM-1 (bottom). Results are expressed as mean fluorescence intensity (MFI) and presented as mean±SEM of n=5–9 independent experiments; **p<0.01 relative to the vehicle group, +p<0.05 relative to the Ang-II-stimulated cells.
