DT3 (75 mg/kg) or vehicle was administered as a single subcutaneous injection to mice 24 h before total-body gamma-radiation (TBI) at a dose rate of 0.6 Gy/min. Thirty-day survival was monitored after different doses of gamma-radiation. Survival data were used to evaluate the DT3 dose reduction factor (DRF, N = 20 mice/group). The DRF of DT3 was determined to be 1.28 (p<0.01).
