Effect of ADL on serum leptin. Mice were fed normal-fat diet (NFD), high-fat diet (HFD), HFD supplemented with 100 mg·kg−1·day−1 ADL (HFD + ADL 100), HFD supplemented with 3000 mg·kg−1·day−1 ADL (HFD + ADL 3000), and HFD supplemented with 3000 mg·kg−1·day−1 yerba mate (HFD + MT 3000) for 6 weeks. Serum samples were obtained from 15 h-fasted mice. Leptin was assayed by ELISA. Bars represent mean ± SD (n = 3). Statistical significance was evaluated by Duncan post-hoc test in ANOVA. Inline graphicp < 0.001, compared to the high-fat diet group.
