(A) The selective RyR activator caffeine (10 mM) induced an increase in intracellular Ca2+ that was significantly and completely inhibited by 0.1 mM (B) and 1 mM chloro (C), respectively. Each experiment was conducted in 22 cells and the summarized results are shown in (D). *** denotes p < 0.001. These results further support that chloro inhibits RyRs.
