LRRK2 kinase inhibition attenuates Tat-induced proinflammatory cytokine and chemokine expression in primary microglia. Tat-induced expression of TNF-α (A), IL-6 (B), and CXCL2 (C) are significantly decreased by LRRK2-IN-1 and GSK2578215A, and Tat-induced expression of MCP-1 (D) is significantly decreased by GSK2578215A but not with LRRK2-IN-1 (*p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001, one-way ANOVA with Newman–Keuls post hoc test).
