CPT induces DDR in DBH-positive cultured neurons. Cultured LC neurons were treated with CPT (10 μM) for 2 h, then continued to grow in the media without CPT for 24 h, 48 h and 72 h. Only DBH-positive cells were counted. A: Significant γH2AX foci were found in nuclei after CPT treatment. The number of γH2AX-positive cells was reduced gradually within 72 h. Images were taken with 60× magnification. Percentage of γH2AX positive cells were shown in (B), representing averages obtained from 4 separate experiments.
