b

Three effect sizes from anger/hostility composite measures were included in this analysis.

c

There were moderate effect sizes for anger, hostility, and anger/hostility composite scores and IPV (d = .51, k = 56, 95% CI = .46 – .56, p < .001), an anger and anger/hostility composite and IPV (d = .52, k = 40, 95% CI = .46 – .57, p < .001), and hostility and anger/hostility composite scores and IPV (d = .53, k = 19, 95% CI = .46 – .60, p < .001). These effect sizes were calculated for comparison purposes to the findings of Norlander and Eckhardt (2005).
