Part B of Fig 3 shows that higher levels of childhood trauma and mastery is associated with stronger increases in positive affect on days when confronted with a positive event (dotted line, circle end points). High mastery is represented by circle end points and black lines, whereas low mastery is represented by square end points and gray lines.
