The control group had an average serum cholesterol level of 930 ± 330 mg/dl while the SPX-106T treated group was 630 ± 310 mg/dl giving a p=0.025. Serum triglyceride levels for control and SPX-106T groups were 141.7 ± 43.1 mg/dl and 110.8 ± 6205 mg/dl respectively with a p=0.16.
