Isw2 and Ino80 function is independent of DNA damage response or fork protection pathways. (A) Representative results of the spot tests on 0.02% MMS gradient plates performed as described previously (Au et al. 2011). The top panel shows that deletion of replication components such as ELG1 or CTF18 results in additive MMS sensitivity with isw2 nhp10. The bottom panel shows that deletion of a DNA resection factor SGS1 is additive with isw2 nhp10 as well. mec1 sml1 serves as a control to determine the severity of sensitivity on MMS.
