Transaxial/coronal/sagital images: (a) conventional reconstruction (MLEM and SP-MAP), as well as proposed MAP reconstruction (JP-MAP) with (b) 3%, (c) 9% and (d) 15% noise in the MR images, with and without PET/MR mis-registration. Reconstructions included 5 iterations of the MLEM and SP-MAP algorithms, while having 10 iterations of the proposed JP-MAP algorithm (all with 16 subsets), to provide images of nearly matched bias, for fair visual comparison of noise levels.
