The mechanical properties of both groups decreased gradually during in vitro culture, and it increased during in vivo implantation. The mechanics at the 4 week in vitro culture time point was significantly lower than the 1 day in vitro and 4 week in vivo time points in both groups. No apparent differences were found between other two time points. The mechanics for Group A samples was slightly higher than those of Group B at the 1 and 2 week in vitro culture time points, as well as 2 and 4 weeks after in vivo implantation.
