MT1-MMP is required for podoplanin-induced OSCC cell spreading and invasion. A. Cell spreading assays with extracellular matrix (collagen I and Fibronectin) were performed in all the transfected OSCC cells, treated with MT1-MMP siRNA regents. WSU-HN6 cells with forced podoplanin expression were subjected to transwell assay in the presence of TIMP2, MT1-MMP siRNA and the control siRNA.
