Abbreviations: AVLT, Auditory Verbal Learning Test; BNT, Boston Naming Test; CDT, Clock-Drawing Test; MMSE, Mini-Mental State Examination; R-O, Rey-Osterrrieth Complex Figure; SDMT, Symbol Digit Modalities Test; TMT, Trail Making Test. Note: data expressed as mean±s.d. *Significant at P<0.05.
Comparisons between groups were performed using Wald χ2-test for gender and APOE ɛ4. Multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) was used to determine the main effect of the genotype and sex on the neuropsychological tests, as well as the interaction between them (age, education, and APOEɛ4 as covariates).
