Effects of low-dose IL-2 on Foxp3⁺ CD25^high CD127^low CD4⁺ T cells (CD4⁺ Tregs) and Foxp3⁺ CD25^high CD127^low CD8⁺ T cells (CD8⁺ Tregs) in humans. Seven type 1 diabetes patients were treated with 3 MIU IL-2/day for 5 days (34). Time-course changes of CD8⁺ Tregs and CD4⁺ Tregs percentages in peripheral blood (A) and of CD25 mean fluorescence intensity (MFI) in CD8⁺ Tregs and CD4⁺ Tregs in peripheral blood (B) following a 5-days course of low-dose IL-2. Individual values and mean ± SEM are shown. Results are expressed in fold variation compared with the mean at day 0 of all the samples.
