DHEA induces CD40, CD86, and CD54 expression on B. abortus-infected monocytes. CD40 (A), CD86 (B), and CD54 (C) expression by B. abortus-infected THP-1 monocytes (MOI, 100) in the presence or not of cortisol (1 × 10−6 M), DHEA (1 × 10−8 M), or cortisol plus DHEA (1 × 10−6 M and 1 × 10−8 M, respectively).
