The relationship between beam motion and CCD integration time (from 0.1 ms to 1 s). The calculated beam motion of focused Gaussian beams in different media is constant when short CCD integration times are used to “freeze” the motion during each image “snapshot.” At longer integration times, the beam motion is averaged out during each image snapshot, resulting in erroneous (under-estimated) beam-motion calculations.
