LGE images acquired in a healthy subject with the proposed 3D PS-LGE/T1 sequence. Due to an inaccurate inversion-time, artefactual signal enhancement (arrows) can be observed in the LGE image with standard 3D FFT reconstruction. After polarity restoration, the artifact in the myocardium is removed, resulting in complete nulling of the healthy myocardium.
